Gum disease can actually make it harder for people who have diabetes to control their blood sugar9 Approximately 75% of American adults use some form of vision correction.6 Recent research shows that employee vision impairment can decrease productivity by as much as 20%.9 A comprehensive eye exam can detect health problems including diabetes, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, and even brain tumors.6
When oral cancer is caught early, survival rates reach 80%-90%10 Direct medical costs associated with vision disorders exceed similar medical expenditures for breast cancer, lung cancer and HIV.7 Vision disorders alone cost businesses an estimated $8 billion each year.10
